configured to transmit at the following power
levels: 0dBm, 6dBm, 10dBm, 14dBm (default), 16dBm
and 20dBm. |

| The targeted Delay Spread
of the P-320 and P-360 at 11Mbps is 125ns, and
at 5.5Mbps it is 250ns. |

| The P-320 and P-360 are equipped
with internal vertically polarized 6dBi directional
antenna for transmit and receive, the horizontal
beam width is 85° with no downtilt. The P-320
and P-360 are also equipped with a horizontally
polarized 4dBi receive-only secondary antenna
with a 65° horizontal beamwidth. Plots of

The P-380A is equipped with
an internal 10dBi directional antenna, the horizontal
beam width is 47°, the vertical beamwidth

What are the best channels to
use if I need more than 3 APs in the same area
? |
The recommended minimum channel
separation between adjacent Wi-Fi APs is 5 (e.g.
channels 1, 6, 11). Under some circumstances it
is possible to reduce this channel separation
to 4, or even 3 channels to allow more APs to
be installed within the coverage area. When reducing
to these smaller channel separations, it is essential
to provide a greater physical separation between
the APs (i.e. >5m (17ft)).
- In N. America: only 11 channels are
available so in dense AP environments channels
1, 4, 7, and 10/11 may be used.
- In Europe: 13 channels are available
so channels 1, 5, 9 and 13 may be used
or under some circumstances channels 1, 4,
7, 10 and 13.
- Other Regulatory Regimes: The number
of channels available and the spacing used
will depend on local regulations.

Can I have 2 APs in the same coverage
area set to the same channel ? |
| If 2 APs within range of each
other are set to the same channel, they will "contend"
with one another for the 11Mbps of bandwidth avaialble
on that channel, i.e. all users associate to those
2 APs will be sharing the 11Mbps of available
bandwidth. |
Can I attach an external antenna
to the P-320 or P-360 ? ...and if so what connectors
are required ? |
| It
is possible to attach an external antenna to both
the P-320 and P-360 using the A-103 "Pigtail"
cable. The A-103 cable has an MMCX connector for
the primary antenna jack inside the AP casing
and a standard N-type (male) connector for the
external antenna. |

| The primary antenna inside
the P-320 and P-360 casing is the vertically polarized
antenna with the large backing plate located towards
the bottom of the unit next to the radio PCB. |

Router/AP ? |
| The P-380N Router/AP comes
equiped with a Reverse Polarity N-type connector.
There is the option to use the A-102 short antenna
cable to convert the RP N-type connector to a
standard N-type (male) connector for the external
antenna. |
The "Loopback" and "Monitoring"
screens in the P-380/P-320/P-360 don't seem
to work, what is the problem ? |

Can I use an external power supply on the T-316
ethernet client instead of the supplied USB
cable ? ...if so what are the specifications
for the supply ? |
| It is possible to use an external
power supply for the T-316 ethernet client instead
of the USB cable supplied. The power supply should
deliver a stabilised 5V DC at 1.5A, the centre-pin
on the connector is +ive. The Gemtek Systems'
X-103 power supply can be used to power the T-316
ethernet client. |
